Freddy

Well, Freddy is back, but has to be kept in one room and quiet until Monday.  I can see him putting up with that (not).  The last time I had to keep him in he started shredding the wallpaper.  He is also wearing a bright pink bandage across his chest and round his shoulders, rather like a bed-jacket.  He is already trying to lick it off.

Also, I have two lots of antibiotics and a liquid painkiller to give him.  "He's very easy to pill,' said the nurse, chirpily, as she handed him over.  So that's something to look forward to.

Thank you, that is kind. I will try to manage with Michael to start off with - after all, Freddy is the easiest to deal with (and I have pilled him before).

I enjoy pilling kittiez, when I am not heaving boxes of books ... happy to help if needed!
Photo of bandaged kitty pls? Shall use as deterrent for Oz.

It may be worth getting him one of those lampshade collars to stop him interfering with the bandage. I hope it heals quickly.

I had rather naively assumed that the vet would provide one of those, if I needed one. But his bandages are already looking very ragged. I will see how he does overnight, and maybe ring the vet tomorrow.
