Have lost a cat

I haven't seen Izzy since last Friday before we went to Eastercon.  Not that I've been here to see her much - Monday afternoon after we got back, and then yesterday evening, but she doesn't seem to be around.  The builders say that they saw her at the weekend, but there are a lot of black and white cats around here, so it's not certain.  I have been out calling for her, but no reply.  But then she never does come when she's called.  I think she got fed up with the builders, and went off to get some peace and quiet, but I hope she comes back.

Oh, I'm sorry to read this. I hope she's being Sensible Feline and avoiding builders. Worth putting up notice? You might at least get some idea of whether your neighbours have seen her.

I was rather hoping that today (being a bank holiday) might be a builder-free day. Clearly, however, on bank holidays they have a lie in and merely turn up at 8 am rather than their usual 7.30. Sigh. Maybe they'll knock off at 11 am to go and watch the telly or have a street party, or something.

Quite. I don't think anef knows how close she came to having to post "Have lost a boyfriend" this week (they start work before I get out of bed, which is a little awkward). I think Izzy will be back some time soon - but you can't help worrying.

I am so very sorry. I hope she turns up soon. It's quite possible she's go herself shut into someone's shed or such like.
