Towards cats

Have been visited by nice Cats Protection League lady and told that the house is officially approved for the installation of cat or cats.  Well, one would have thought so, but You Never Know.  Let's hope they have some cats to offer.

Cats' protection locally are unbelievably prissy about this -- I have stories. But yay on imminent cats.

CPL can be astonishingly prissy about this all over. I doubt, for example, I would be approved because we live close to a main road, though it has not caused any significant problems for us, and I have heard stories of people being refused approval because they weren't home all day to tend to feline's every whim. One might almost think they didn't want to rehome cats.

In fact there is a possibility of (ahem) three ex-feral kittens (well, 5 months ish). I am trying to bring my better judgement to say no, we only want two, but they are rather adorable.
