The first signs of Spring

Freddie brought in a dear little dead mousie this morning.  He had already ripped its head off but was throwing the bloodied corpse around the kitchen with gay abandon.  I managed to get to it with the dustpan and brush, swept it up and put it in the bin.  He is now wandering round the kitchen looking for it.  "I know I had a mousie somewhere.  Where did it go?"  Sigh.
