A small milestone

This week the builders gave our keys back.  The building work is officially over. 

This does not mean, of course, that the house is completely ship-shape and in perfect working order.  Some rooms still need decorating and are full of random junk and books.  Others are decorated but have small piles of random junk and books here and there.

Nevertheless, there is progress.
