Had an email this morning from the organiser of a crew that I sometimes row with, asking if I would like to sub in on Sunday morning, at 8 am.

I said:  Umm, in theory.  But isn't it going to be snowing?

She said:  Take no notice of the weather forecast! 

And the consequence was....
